Key Control Policy One of the most efficient ways for you to provide access to your home is by providing Touch of Freedom with a spare key. This prevents you from wasting any time waiting at home for our cleaning technician to arrive. It also offers you the freedom if any unexpected plans were to come up and you would otherwise have to cancel.
The protection of your key and ultimately your home is extremely important to us. Therefore, we will never store your key with any identifying information on it. Your keys will instead be number-coded. Keys will be returned immediately to you in person (not by mail) once you decide to end service with Touch of Freedom.
If you decide not to issue a key to us, and no one will be home during the cleaning, you may choose to leave a door unlocked or place a spare key in a secured place for the cleaning technicians to gain access to your home. In this case, you release Touch of Freedom of any liability that may arise from any damages or theft to your home as we cannot guarantee that we are the only ones who will have access to your home that day.
Alarm System If your home has a security system, please inform us how you want to handle it. Security and safety of your home is a major concern and our staff is sensitive to security and access procedures. Please note that it is not necessary for you to have to disarm your alarm systems the day of our cleaning. If you contact your alarm company they can assist you in programming a code that is unique to our company. Our cleaning technicians are trained to ensure that the alarm is re-armed upon departure.
Important Note: Our policy is to lock the door while we are cleaning and to not allow access to unknown persons. Please do not rely on us to let in workmen during the time we are in your home.
